TFA conducted a regional study on pesticides impacts to school children in Laos, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam in 2017. The studies involved collection and compilation of data on pesticides uses and blood test through reactive paper designed to detect residues of Organophosphate and Carbamate by trained medical personnel. The results shown that children, farmers and consumers in participated countries had pesticides in their blood at different levels. The results were disseminated at local and national levels.
