First steps in the process involved the collection of gender-disaggregated data. The Field Alliance recognizes that women and men experience agricultural challenges differently, and that empowering women farmers is essential for sustainable development.

Our programs specifically support women's leadership in Farmer Field Schools, ensure equal access to training and resources, and address gender-specific barriers to adopting sustainable farming practices.
