Regional exchange programs and visits:
The Field Alliance and its partners organized various regional exchange and visits to see field innovations, policy exchange and supporting mechanism in various areas.
2019, TFA and Thai Education Foundation organized exchange visits for 25 policy makers from Cambodia to see the use of alternatives energy for agriculture by farmers, local administration and provincial supports and national policy exchanges in Thailand.
During 17-18 December, 2019
The Field Alliance and Thai Education Foundation organized a study visit for the group of 10 Lao People’s Democratic Republic from 5 sub-districts (Huaphan Subdistrict, Chiang Khwang Subdistrict Chai Somboon Subdistrict, Udom Chai Subdistrict and Vientiane Capital City) from the Ministry of Agriculture and Ministry of Education. The visit took place at the schools which have been trained from our organizations and received national school lunch award and sustainable development on green agriculture for communities.
2018, TFA and ICERD organized and regional exchange and field visits on pesticides waste containers for policy makers from Cambodia, Laos, Thailand and Vietnam in Hanoi. The program helped policy makers see various efforts being implemented to manage the waste containers and exchange policies developed thus far.
2018, TFA and ICERD supports attendants in the Annual Regional Mekong Extension and Learning Alliance annual workshop in Danang, Vietnam. MELA Regional Workshop provides opportunities for policy makers, academics, NGOs, farmers, youth and private sectors to see exchange their innovations/development and field visits the host country programs. The workshop is hosted and supports by the national government and from MELA committee.
